Microsoft will be releasing the Windows 8 Consumer Preview February 29th, 2012 as part of the Mobile World Congress trade show in Barcelona, Spain. The launch will be part of a press event that will be held from 3 to 5 PM.
One interesting aspect of the Consumer Preview is that Windows Media Center is once again MIA. It is expected not to make an appearance until Windows 8's release.
