Windows 8 grew its market share by only 0.32% according to Net Applications but stats offered by Valve's Steam gaming platform show that Microsoft's latest OS is getting more users every day. Windows 8 grew its userbase by 1.10% amongst gamers in July.
Data collected from Steam Hardware & Software Survey indicate that Windows 64-bit is now second most popular OS amongst gamers with 13.34% market share, while 32-bit version of Windows 8 is only installed on 0.78% of the gaming computers worldwide. Windows 7 64-bit remains the leader with 52.39%.
