Windows 8 restart/reboot

I do not usually believe in benchmarks but Windows 8 is really faster in shutting down and booting up as compared to the older versions. The thing is, I recently noticed, Windows 8 seems to restart/reboot noticeably slower in my PC.

Note: Stack Windows 8, no antivirus, since it already has one. Just for the test, I closed everything and timed both.

Can anyone test this?
