Windows Phone Store now has over 120,000 apps. That's an increase of 20 percent over the 100,000 apps last reported by the company in June.
This may not be much if you compare it to the 700,000 in the iTunes App Store, or the more than 600,000 in the Google Play Store but one of the biggest complaints levied against the Windows Phone platform is a lack of apps, and Microsoft has been working hard to change that. Microsoft says 46 of the 50 most popular apps will be available on Windows Phone 8.
