I know we don't need Flash when we have HTML5. In fact, Flash plugin is bad because of stability and security related issues. First Apple abandon mobile Flash and now Microsoft is killing the main desktop version of Flash by blocking it in IE10 according to the new guidelines for website developers. IE10 won't run Flash unless the site has been approved and granted access by Microsoft. All the website developers will need to submit a request to Microsoft in order to be whitelisted.
The Windows 8 ships with two versions of Internet Explorer 10. One for the new Modern (Metro) interface and one for the old Windows 7 style desktop experience. The main Metro version won't run Flash unless the site is on a whitelist, where as the Desktop version will run Flash as normal.
Good bye Flash and welcome HTML5.
