Hello everyone! May I please request assistance with the Windows 7 Taskbar?
This morning, I formatted and reinstalled Windows 7, after dabbling with various configurations of Windows 8. (Yes, I did back up my system, with Acronis, prior to doing the Windows 8 installations. I just wanted to start from scratch.)
Anyway, something new is happening to the taskbar at the bottom of the screen, where I pin programs. Up to now, whenever I placed my mouse over one of the taskbar icons, a thumbnail view of the program would be displayed.
For example, if I placed the mouse over the icon for VLC Media Player, I could actually see a small window with the movie playing.
Today, though, I just see text, i.e. Document1 - Word Commercial Use when I mouse over it.
Can anyone please tell me how to configure the taskbar so that thumbnail windows will be displayed when I mouse over a "pinned" program? Thank you very much! Jd
