Recommended: About Inking/Handwriting with recognition technologies (also for speech one as well) in Desktop PC and Laptop -> To emulate Tablet PC Behavior in PC/Laptop: Although you can still use conventional/standard Mouse (with its limitation, of course), but to make handwriting and inking more easier and better in PC/Laptop (non-Tablet) with Xp Pro/Home/MCE, then you can better use Mouse Pen Tablet Hardware for PC (recommended, e.g the ones from Wacom and Genius) which you can get only for less than $60, much cheaper than real Tablet PC, but can "convert" your Desktop/Laptop to "Tablet" too (Y).
It's also more helpful than mouse if you're a Graphic Designer (by using some apps such as Corel Painter or Photoshop etc), especially when you're working with PC/Conventional Laptop. Alternatively you can just switch between them (Mouse and Mouse Pen) so you can still enhance your PC more better by having both Mouse and Mouse Pen without missing the old Mouse in your Desktop/Laptop at all...

However, i think it's not complete yet if you already have Tablet Math Input Panel for Xp but you don't have Tablet PC Input Panel (TIP) yet which exist in Xp Tablet PC and/or Vista Premium/Ultimate. Since they all are integral Tablet PC Components for each other like previous Snipping Tool and Windows Journal.
Beside Tablet Input Panel and Math Input Panel, as replacements for Math Input Panel function in Xp (To Recognize Mathematical Expression/Equation) , i have also uploaded Microsoft Equation Writer (From Vista Experience Pack) and Microsoft Math (all with same flavour: all created by MS). + Added some other ports such as Microsoft Sudoku (Origami Experience Pack, codenamed for UMPC) and All Vista Experience Pack. All of them have already been ported to Xp All Editions: Po, Home, MCE, also Tablet PC. Just install some prerequisites below, done. Yeah, Xp is getting old (but still the best OS for me), so, this might be just another last enhancement for Xp from Windows 7.

THE MAIN STUFFS:
1). Microsoft Tablet PC Input Panel For Xp Pro/Home/MCE (TIP) -> (Installer, Uninstallable, it doesnt replace any System File)
(I know people can convert Xp Pro/Home to Tablet PC 2005 in another way, but i'm here to make the process more faster, easier, better, and shorter especially for most end users). If you only have Xp Pro, Home, Tablet or Server 2003 without Media Center 2005, but you want to have Windows Media Center application like the ones in Xp MCE 2005, Vista, and Windows 7, then you can install it by using Windows Media Center installer that i created. Tablet PC Input Panel (or called TIP) is a virtual keyboard application with handwriting and gesture recognizition that only exists in Xp Tablet PC. However Vista (Premium and Ultimate/Non-Basic Edition) and also Windows 7 already have newer versions of TIP as part of tablet PC component. Not like Xp (with separated OS version for Tablet) In Vista and Windows 7 (premium/Ultimate), it's enabled by default, even in Desktop and Laptop PC!
(i.e If you have Vista Ultimate/Premium, you can still get and run Tablet Input Panel and some Tablet apps (Windows Journal, Sticky Notes, Inkball) in Desktop PC rather than using separated Xp Tablet PC OS and hardwares! So cool n' useful for me!)
But since now you can also have original TIP in Xp Pro, Home, and MCE for free as a stand alone application, and it's 100% uninstallable, not as Windows core application. And no system files replaced/touched (clean)!
If you like to enhance your Xp (Pro, Home, MCE) to have feature like Xp Tablet PC and Vista/Windows 7, then maybe you also like to install and have TIP. It's been tweaked and enhanced for PC/Laptop even more than the original one (i.e no annoying TIP icon in taskbar, you can directly launch TIP by using shortcut like Vista, Vista Icon, etc). - Tablet PC Hardware or Pen Mouse for Desktop/Laptop PC (e.g from Wacom or Genius) -> Optional but it’s highly recommended for Inking and Handwriting rather than a standard mouse (though mouse can still be used as minimal), as the main purpose. Another function: For example, it’s also more helpful than mouse if you’re a Graphic Designer who uses some applications e.g Adobe Photoshop or Corel Painter by using Pen Mouse in PC/Laptop. It can bring/simulate some “Tablet Behavior” to your PC/Laptop and still be much cheaper than original Tablet hardware. Very useful enough.
- It’s very recommended to enable Quick Launch (per-user setting) for placing TIP shortcut before or after installing which you can directly launch TIP anytime by using the Quick Launch shortcut (you can easily hide it anytime you want) instead of “Old TIP taskbar icon” that’s disabled in this port version though you can also restore it back easily, since it looks “annoying” in PC and Laptop non-Tablet GUI even for some Tablet Users (following Vista that hides it too by default).

- Tweaked/removed/patched some Tablet PC-only limitations so it can also be used on "normal" Xp with Standard Desktop PC/Laptop as well.
- No Taskbar TIP Icon anymore by default (you still can restore it back later as original TIP), more easier-accessible by using some TIP shortcuts (e.g TIP shortcut in Quick Launch, per-user setting).
- No On-Screen Keyboard (OSK) on Log on Screen (you can restore it back later as original TIP), guaranteed, not annoying anymore for i.e Desktop PC while you booting/logging on/switching users.
- New shortcuts on Start Menu to launch TIP like Vista (Accessories\Tablet PC), also on Quick Launch (per-user setting) instead of "old" TIP icon on Taskbar (that disabled by default), help file etc.
- Some features above to enable/disable (customize) floating TIP and also disable TIP totally (the services) i.e for keeping the computer resource up without uninstalling it at all till you're ready to enable it back.
- Sure, you can still use standard mouse or even touchpad (minimally) to create any handwriting, gesture, or inking on Desktop/Laptop PC but it's more better and easier if you also have a Pen Mouse Hardware for your Desktop/Laptop PC, so you can do it as well as a real pen for Tablet PC!
- As original, the new Tablet PC 2005 framework skinning GUI engine also depends on Xp theme itself.
- Easy-Uninstallable, like other 3rd party application (not as Windows locked feature). No critical/original Windows system files replaced/changed during TIP installation process. It only enhance your system as the main purpose.
- Support for Multilanguages (see the Language Bar). MUI/localization pack must be installed first. If not then English will still be the default one.
- Your Xp Pro/Home/MCE OS(es) won't be hacked/changed at all (once again, no critical/original Windows system files replaced/changed during TIP installation process) and it/they will still always be original and genuine as first time (not like previous "hacking way" which really "converts" your Xp to Xp Tablet PC only to get some Tablet Components installed), check the system properties or about Windows to prove it. WGA (Windows Genuine Validation) etc is not affected at all.

Please Note: Since some app files might have been "patched" or "compressed" (packed) to work properly on another Xp OS editions etc and it might be a necessary effort for that beside the installing code itself, then some "false alarm" or "false positive" may happen to some clean exe installers/apps /installation process (rare) although they are actually clean and safe and does not pose a threat to your system.. The term false positive is used when antivirus software wrongly classifies an innocuous ( inoffensive ) file as a virus. The incorrect detection may be due to heuristics or to an incorrect virus signature in a database.Usually some great and famous antiviruses (such as Kaspersky, AVG, Norman, McAfee, etc) won't have the such problem so far bcoz they will work better. If that happens, then you can simply ignore it and continue installing as it's guaranteed actually 100% safe and clean by me. But again, it's still 100% your own choice and right to decide.

Mmm, as i said above, For Desktop/Laptop users with Xp non-tablet OS (Pro, Home, MCE), since now they can be more happier by enhancing their Xp OSes (Pro/Home/MCE) to have all features by default (Ultimate etc), without any limitation/separation or separated Xp OSes anymore (like Vista's way for desktop) i.e for Desktop customization (fun) or using some inking/handwriting Tablet apps (by using either mouse or special mouse pen for inking in desktop PC as said above) in some useful/productive activities (i.e for graphic designers or people who often like/use handwriting and handdrawing by using the apps/features as said above), can be useful for them, etc...
For Tablet PC user, in another (rare) case (for example, as i often read some topics about it by Tablet PC users on some tablet forum/net), if you have a new Tablet PC which came with pre-installed Vista (not like Xp, Vista for Tablet is identical/same with PC version), but you still want to "downgrade" it to Xp Tablet PC 2005 (Downgrades right is only available for Ultimate/Business as far i know, and Xp Tablet PC OS is not available as retail, but only OEM with the Tablet PC itself unless you're MSDN subscriber or a fanatic torrent user lol), then you can only install your own Xp Pro or MCE on it, then install some Tablet PC stuffs above (Journal, Sticky Notes, Input Panel), done. or if you miss Xp Tablet PC OS CD etc. the problem solved...

Again, Thx alot to Jdd (JeremyDDual) from Wincert and Deviantart for porting and uploading this first (please visit his thread them), full credits to him, later i just reuploaded it with manifest file and a guide note and gave the missing prerequisites for Xp All Editions. he said it was from Windows 7 M3 which had new Tablet Math Input Panel (as new Tablet Component, rather than Vista and Xp Tablet PC 2005):
Update: OSes: Xp (Pro, Home, MCE), Xp Tablet PC 2005 -> SP2/SP3 and Vista. Both Xp and Xp tablet PC need Alky 1.1 installed with real Vista Ultimate serial number (RTM).
Xp Tablet PC: It needs Alky and Visual C++ 2005 Runtime Redistributable package. Xp Pro/Home/Tablet PC, then you need (you can download them all from Microsoft website for free):
Just copy all the files to directory "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Ink" on both Xp and Vista like original Windows 7. Do the same with Vista. You still may run it anywhere though. For Xp Only with Alky: After that, right click mip.exe, then select "patch and run Vista executable". Done, the app Windows will appear. Do the same with micaut.dll (Right click -> "Patch Vista Library") You need to register mraut.dll as usual com library using regsvr32 /s mraut.dll command. It can recognize mathematical expression but needs to restart though (close and re-open the app before it can recognize). Seems that because of lack of fprint function etc. Still needs some internal routine fixes though.
:P Well, if someone of you is great in programming, coding and hacking, please help to fix it to work properly on Xp! Don't forget to share it back to people. Easy Steps To install Alky with Vista Serial:
1) Download from link above, then extract/create "sources" folder that contains two downloaded files above to any drive/partition you want (e.g.: "D:\"). If you copy them to "D:\" , so the full path becomes "D:\sources", according to Ricktendo's explanation above or his post below). Of course you can also copy them to "C:\", or "F:\" later, just for example guys.
2) Run Alky Installer (you have to remove previous Alky before re-installing), then check "Bind to product key". Select the drive/partition that you placed the folder (e.g.: D:\ like above) Enter your Vista "Valid" Serial (Bind to Product Key) and , start installing.
3) Reboot (optional but recommended to re-register new drivers/binaries, registry, Alky Shell Extension etc), done!

Beside Xp Tablet PC you can also use Xp Ultimate XD from Raphael/MSFN edition with Alky (thx to Bro Jdd for the info)

Just copy all the files to directory "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Ink" on both Xp and Vista like original Windows 7. Do the same with Vista. You still can run it anywhere though.

It can recognize mathematical expression but needs to restart though (close and re-open the app before it can recognize). Seems that because of lack of fprint function etc. Still needs some internal routine fixes though. Again, if someone of you is great in programming, coding and hacking, please help to fix it so it can work properly on Xp. Don't forget to share it back to people for free. [b]For Vista:[/b] It will run kinda better in Vista than Xp bcoz its more compatibilities (MIP can recognize math inking but too bad the insert function still doesnt work so far). (I have included unpatched MIP files too also for Vista, since Vista doesn't need Alky to run it at all). After copying all the files to Ink folder ("C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Ink" as above),
You only need to register mraut.dll in Vista as usual activex/dll, and it should successfully recognize the inking like Windows 7.
To Register MIP in Vista you have to run as administrator, as the only way:

(+ SOME MS APPLICATIONS)
1). Microsoft Equation Writer (Functional Replacement/Alternative for Math Input Panel in Xp and Vista, Stand Alone)
Too bad the original MIP can be ported to Xp and Vista but may still miss some functionalities (at least for now, till fixed) but you can still "mimic/simulate" New Windows 7 Math Input Panel in Xp and Vista (that still lack of some functionality), so if you need more, you can also use Microsoft Math below (with more advanced features) or even only Microsoft Equation Editor (built in Office Edition) for mathematical Expression. Other more powerful 3rd parties which you can also consider as replacement for 7 Math Input Panel on Xp/Vista: i.e XThink Math Journal and Calculator. You can get them Here and Here :D
Prerequisites: (Windows Xp Pro, Home, MCE, Tablet PC 2005, and Windows Vista. See the required editions for Windows Vista below):

2). Microsoft Math (A Better Functional Replacement for Math Input Panel and Calculator too)
This one is better than Microsoft Equation Writer and even the original W7 Math Input Panel Itself. It can recognize both handwriting and typing, solve, and paste any Mathematical Equation and some mathematical problems (Algebra, Arithmatic, Trigonometry, Calculus, Geometry, Statistic, and many more etc!). It also has Calculator which even better than any standard Windows Calculator...

Actually you're not required to use Microsoft Math in only Tablet PC environment since it's basically not Tablet-only application (the inking/handwriting is just an additional feature which can be enabled only if you install it in Xp Tablet PC 2005 and Vista Premium/Ultimate or Xp Pro/Home/MCE with Windows Journal Viewer 1.5 installed). You can use it to count, calculate, solve some mathematic problems, draw curve graphic, and many more like a super calculator application. Note/Tips To mimic New Windows 7 Math Input Panel in Xp and Vista (PC, Laptop, and Tablet PC) with inking enabled:
After installing then stretch the inking preview pane so it's larger (like Windows 7 Math Input Panel).
Also select: Toolbar -> View -> Check "Use Handwriting Input" as default view setting. You can even use the calculator feature that more powerful than Windows 7 standard calculator (in some cases).
Then uncheck "Show on Start Up" on Math Tools Box and close it,so it doesn't start up/cover the inking preview pane anymore (make it looks clearer).

Special/Recommended Stuffs For XP Tablet PC 2005 Users: Download tip.exe and floattip.exe + some TIP tweaks (Btw it was also included in TIP installer for XP Pro/Home/MCE/2003):
Since we can't create shortcut to launch Tablet PC Input Panel (TIP) directly other than the standard icon on taskbar (maybe there's some hidden parameter to launch it, but i don't know so far), In Vista we can launch TIP by just clicking the shortcut on start menu (this is available in my TIP installer for XP Pro and Home). For Xp Tablet PC 2005 users alternatively you can double click tip.exe or the shortcut of it to launch TIP. Also sometimes Xp Tablet PC users can't always find floating icon i.e when launching Notepad with TIP (maybe depending on brand/hardwares/some drivers etc), then you can use floattip.exe to fix/show the floating TIP icon always. Small size and very useful.

While there's TouchPack for Windows 7 (Tablet PC), actually XP Tablet PC users can still get Touchpack for XP (with different apps and games though). Just download here for free (MUI and English):
