Facebook releases Facebook Lite, a lightweight version of its app for the low-end or older Android phones for the developing markets. Currently, the app is only available officially in a few countries including India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Nigeria, South Africa, Sudan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and Zimbabwe. You can download the APK if you can't find it in the Play Store.
