RadialMenu is a small project I started to alleviate aggravations I encountered while using my Motion Computing LE 1600 Slate/Tablet PC. The goal was to emulate the radial menu that Wacom distributes with some of their products but with per application menus and submenus. I'm releasing it for free as I think some out there might find it useful.
Icons, Text, or both can be used as button labels.
- Individual profiles for different applications.
- Custom hotkey activation
- Built in macro editor.
- Submenus
- Custom per-application profiles and automatic profile switching.
- Execute custom macros, launch programs, open folders, and submenu capability.
Recent Changes:
Radial Menu 0.1.84.41 - released on October 7, 2014
- Fixed: RadialMenu not displaying at the correct location when DPI scaling is used.
- Changed: Made the center close button smaller to make accessing the normal right click context menu easier for those that use right click to activate RadialMenu.
- Added: DoubleClick option to activation settings for testing. Disable this option if it presents problems.
- Added: Check to restrict to only 1 submenu deep from a parent menu. (Deeply nested submenus cause issues. Will fix later.)
- Added: Ability to duplicate existing menus. Everything should be duplicated. Duplicating a submenu by itself is untested. Click the 'D' button do duplicate the chosen profile and select an application to associate it with.
- Added: Right clicking the close button on RadialMenu now displays the same context menu as is shown by clicking on the tray icon.

The most current documentation can be found on the RadialMenu Help Forum.

RadialMenu runs as a tray icon, right clicking the icon in the system tray will bring up a menu enabling access to the settings dialog as well as the option to exit the application.
With a fresh install RadialMenu will have the default menu that is used for all applications that aren't associated with a specific profile, initially no buttons will be visible as they are NOT preset to an action but are disabled. Disabled buttons won't appear on the live menu at all.
Activating/Displaying RadialMenu
By default RadialMenu can be activated by pressing CONTROL + SHIFT + Z or CONTROL + MIDDLE MOUSE BUTTON. This can be changed in the settings/options window. Note that after changing the activation hotkey you have to exit/restart radialmenu for it to take effect. Checking the 'DoubleClick' button will cause RadialMenu to activate when the chosen mouse button is double clicked.
Right Mouse Button Activation/Context Menu
If the right mouse button is used by itself for activation RadialMenu still allows access to the standard right click system/shell menu by way of some workarounds:
1. Activate radialmenu away from your right click target, then right click your target while radial menu is still displayed.
2. Right click "through" radial menu if you are accurate enough to do it in the space between the buttons. ![clear.png]()

3. Hold down control or shift and then right click your target.
I'm working on a better solution for this issue and hope to have it remedied soon.
