Trying to figure out a font issue

I've been trying to figure out what may be the culprit of a font issue I'm having when viewing various web sites and using various applications on my system. Below are screen captures from my system as to what I am experiencing.

Issue within Chrome


Issue within Ubitsoft's Uplay


Issue within Internet Explorer viewing a web site


What I expect to see for clarity of font (using first screen shot on another system as an example)


I've gone about reinstalling all fonts on my system, checking the default Windows font setting (is what it should be), resetting Internet Explorer settings, resetting font options, and reinstalling my display driver.

If anyone has any insight as to what may have caused this and how to fix, I'd greatly appreciate the assistance. Thanks to anyone out there that can help
