Microsoft has released Halo: Spartan Assault Lite to give Windows 8 and RT users the chance to try out the new top-down action shooter at absolutely no price. The Lite version comes with the first of the 30 missions available in the full game, where you’ll take command of classic Halo weapons to fight classic Halo enemies but all from a brand new, touch-based perspective.
