There are more than 115,000 modern apps available for Windows 8 and Windows RT users on Windows Store, and most of the apps are available for free according to MetroStore Scanner. It's an third-party service that keeps an eye on the Windows Store and on the apps that are submitted for approval.
The amount of spam (fake and useless apps) listed in the Store is still shockingly high.
