Microsoft has lunched its latest "Scroogled" attack on Google's Gmail service to promote Outlook.com. They are calling it Gspam! The new campaign is focused on the Gmail inbox redesign that resulted in Gmail users seeing advertisement messages in the “Promotions” tab of the new Gmail inbox.
Microsoft's Scroogled page says, "Google violates your privacy by reading every single word of every single email sent to and from Gmail accounts so they can better target you with ads. Now, they're going one step further over the line by using that same personal information to spam your inbox with ads that look like real emails."
Btw, Gmail users can disable the Promotions tab easily from the Settings.
