Windows 8 grew its market share by less than 1% in May according to Net Applications. It's now installed on 4.27 percent of all PCs worldwide but PC gamers are switching to Windows 8 on faster basis. Valve's Steam client shows that 12.72 percent PC gamers now use either the 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows 8. Last month only the 64-bit version of Windows 8 managed to increase its market share. It's obvious that gamers show their interest in 64-bit version because of it's ability to use more than 4-GB of RAM which is mandatory now a days if you are a gamer.
