Crysis 3 is built into CryEngine 3 engine which has been updated with improved dynamic cloth and vegetation, better lighting and shadows, and plenty more. PC gamers had to wait for a high-resolution textures pack for Crysis 2 last year but Crysis 3 launched with high-resolution textures, DX11 support and plenty of customization options that set it apart from the diluted consoles builds.
The test was conducted by techspot. They used 18 DirectX 11 graphics card configurations from AMD and Nvidia. The latest drivers will be used, and every card will be paired with an Intel Core i7-3960X to remove CPU bottlenecks that could influence high-end GPU scores.
