Rayman: Origins has been received amazingly well by critics so far on Xbox 360 and PS3. Ubisoft is now releasing the game for PC. The strange news is that the game will have no DRM. The download version, including Steam, will use only one time activation.
Ubisoft is already very defamed because of it's DRM that's why their decision to not to include any DRM at all in the retail copies is very surprising.
There's a post on reddit to encourage gamers to buy Rayman: Origins to prove to Ubisoft that they don't need excessive DRM to make money. Not to mention that the game looks really awesome (watch the trailer below). The 2D side-scroller will have the 4-player co-op functionality of the console versions, and also retains its local-only restriction.
Release date is March 29 and price is $29.99.
About the poll: It's my opinion that in most of the cases DRM only annoys the genuine customers, not pirates. Therefore there is no necessity of DRM unless until it is crack-less, which is impossible! Please post your views about DRM and vote in the poll.
