First public beta of avast! 8 antivirus is now available for download. The new version comes with a new user interface and more options than ever before!
Other than the new GUI here are the noticeable changes:
- Software Updater checks your installed applications and alerts you to any available updates.
- There is also a Browser Cleanup tool; it's a standalone utility for getting rid of invasive toolbars.
- FileRep and WebRep are there to help keep identify new threats in near real-time.
- Streaming Updates make sure you have the lastes virus definitions.
