You must have read a lot about Java software being not unsecured. The US Department of Homeland Security warned users two weeks ago that a flaw in Java software is so dangerous that people should stop using it. Oracle released a patch but there is no end to new exploits.

Today Microsoft warns that cybercriminals are now taking advantage of news about security vulnerabilities in Java and showing fake warnings to update Java immediately.

It’s a good idea to uninstall older versions of Java and disable Java in your browser. If you can't live without your favorite Java based software or game then get updates for Java from Oracle and turn on automatic updates for Java.
