BitTorrent has released a new Sync application that works exactly like Dropbox and Skydrive, except for the fact that there's no cloud involved, and no third-party has access to one's files.
Other advantages are that transfers are faster and there are no storage limits!
The Sync app is available for Windows, OSX and Linux. You will have to fill a small form to participate in the alpha testing.
