Microsoft's Windows XP is still surprisingly popular, despite Microsoft's numerous attempts to kill the 11-year old operating system. Windows XP is still the second most popular OS worldwide with 39.80 percent of market share. Windows 7 has 44.71 percent and remains at the number one operating system according to data provides by Net Applications
