Facebook has released major update to it's Android app. Facebook for Android 2.0 has ditched HTML5 and replaced it with hybrid native/webview code. If you regularly use your phone or tablet to check Facebook updates then install the new version ASAP from Google Play.

What I've noticed:
- The app launches quickly
- News feeds and Timeline load and scroll faster thanks to ListView recycler.
- Photos now open instantly because they're loaded into a device's memory.
- Minor UI change in notification and chat.
- The app used to take 25 MB of RAM. It now uses 65 MB of device's RAM.
