DO NOT TRY TO CONVINCE A POSTER THAT THEY "ARE WRONG". THAT'S NOT EVER GOING TO WORK. RESPECT THAT OTHERS DON'T LIKE IT, EVEN IF YOU DISAGREE, AND JUST MOVE ON TO THE NEXT POST. IF YOU QUOTE, DO SO TO TRY TO FIND OUT AND TO EXPAND ON WHAT THEY DONT LIKE, NOT TO START A FIGHT. Ok, So, All of us dislike that "one tech company", whoever that is. and it is different for everyone. Some may dislike Microsoft, some dislike Apple, some dislike Oracle, etc... You get my point. So how about YOU post who is it that you don't like, and WHY do you don't like them?
Ok, so here is mine, to use as an Example:
(Company: Why do i dislike the company? My reason here...)
Apple: Why? Because I have this mental image of Apple as it being The Rich Guy's Overpriced Tech company. Any thing that an Apple device and do, another, less expensive, and at times, truly the better device, can do better.
Google: Why? Because as a programmer, I fail to see the usage behind Dart and Go. Just use Java or Javascript. They are the current industry standard, why try to make a new standard when the old one works so very well?
Microsoft: Why? Metro. Fucking Metro.
Linux: Why? The "truly OSS" guys are killing me. If a great distro was released with prebuilt binary blobs of video cards, and codecs preinstalled came out, and none of those IP's parent companies fussed, then that would be a great thing!
Please note: I generally LIKE all of these companies, it is just these tiny things that just get to me, or "Grind my Gears".
