Lenovo has announced its ultra-thin 14-inch laptop, or ultrabook I can say, dubbed the T430u a week before the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2012 to be held at Las Vegas.
The starting price of the device will be around £545, reported The Inquirer.
T430u will come in a slim and light design at 20.3mm thick and less than 1.8kg. It will have a matte finish with an aluminium cover and will be available with a 14in high definition screen.
It will come with an unknown next gen Intel CPU and an optional Nvidia graphics card and up to 1TB of disk storage or a solid state disk (SSD). Lenovo touts a battery life of up to six hours and features such as quick resume and fast boot. It will also be the first Ultrabook with a DVD drive according to the firm.
Lenovo has unveiled complete 2012 line up of notebooks, which includes ThinkPad X1 Hybrid, ThinkPad T430u Ultrabook and a new ThinkPad B Series. The notebooks will be on display at the CES next week and will be made available from the third quarter of this year.
